One Joyful Hour

Too often with my own kids, I find that I am multi-tasking… texting while talking, cleaning up while playing, folding laundry while relaxing.

I was reminded this week while walking with friends (whose kids are older than mine) how fleeting these sweet days and precious moments are, and I felt so convicted to live a little more undistracted this week I want to be an active participant when they play monster trucks and dollies, to laugh alongside them at what they find funny, to enter their curious little worlds and join in on the fun.

So this week I invite you to come alongside me and spend #onejoyfulhour with your kids: fully present and alert to what they love and enjoy.
