Gratitude Explosion
I was reading a devotional this week by Shauna Niequist called “Savor” (swipe to see 🫶🏼) and it tied in perfectly to our verse of the week. It was about how often our mind only has radar for the negative, but there is another beautiful reality available to us when we choose to look (and develop a radar) for the good and lovely surrounding us. A little sleep deprived and balancing work and home and all the little things, I often feel like I am just going through the motions

Fun Ways to Wait Patiently
(No materials required!) I don’t know about you but having to wait for something is probably the hardest thing for my kids to navigate! Spending my day with my sweet 5 and 6 year olds and my evenings my own 2 and (almost) 4 year old, it is always helpful to have some activities up my sleeve to make waiting patiently a little more fun. So, whether you are waiting for an appointment, driving in the car and being asked for the 487th time if we’re almost there, or having to fill

One Joyful Hour
Too often with my own kids, I find that I am multi-tasking… texting while talking, cleaning up while playing, folding laundry while relaxing. I was reminded this week while walking with friends (whose kids are older than mine) how fleeting these sweet days and precious moments are, and I felt so convicted to live a little more undistracted this week I want to be an active participant when they play monster trucks and dollies, to laugh alongside them at what they find funny, t

Bubbles, Bath time, and Bible Verses
I recently saw @anniefdowns post sharing the idea of laminating scripture passages so that shower time, something you do every day, could be used as a time to memorize scripture and let it soak into your brain. That really struck me… especially adjusting to back to school mode I find that my time alone is very rare, and quiet time is often found in between fetching snacks, refilling cups and bottles and all the things… but what a genius idea to find things that I already do

Listening with Love
This week, we’re practicing a powerful truth: love isn’t just in the words we speak, it’s in how well we listen. James 1:19 reminds us: “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.” When we pause to hear others, we show respect, patience, and care—the heart of love in action. 🎶 Family Activity: Create a playlist of meaningful songs (worship, Christian, or just ones that lift your spirits). Listen to the lyrics together, then talk as a family

The Golden Rule
This week’s reminder comes straight from Luke 6:31 — “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” From gentle hands petting a horse to siblings sharing Dip n Dots (with varying degrees of enthusiasm 😉), every act of kindness — big or small — reflects God’s love in motion. This week’s Wonder-Filled Wednesday activity is simple: find as many opportunities to live out the Golden Rule as possible!! Let us know in the comments the most unique or creative ways you come up with

Peace in the Little Things
Every morning, I send my kids off into the world — one climbing onto the school bus, the other walking into school — and every morning, they remind me of God’s peace in the sweetest way. My son flashes me “heart hands” as the bus drives away. My daughter makes half a heart with her hand, waiting for me to finish the other half before she heads inside. Those tiny gestures say I love you. I’m okay. We’re connected. And in those moments, I feel the peace that Philippians 4:6–7 p
